The #EndBadGovernance Movement has declared a nationwide protest for December 10, 2025, to mark World Human Rights Day, accusing the Tinubu administration of repression, economic hardship, and shrinking civic space.In a statement by spokesperson H. T. Soweto, the group condemned ongoing treason trials of protesters arrested during the August 2024 demonstrations, including Michael Adaramoye and Daniel Akande, whose bank accounts remain frozen.
It also accused security agencies of targeting journalists, bloggers, and student activists.The movement’s key demands include halting all treason trials, releasing detained protesters, ending alleged harassment of critics, stopping the use of anti-terror laws against dissent, and dismissing the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, over alleged abuses. They also called for an end to forced demolitions and compensation for victims.Organizers say the protest will be peaceful and aim to defend human rights and democratic freedoms under the current administration.
