The Nigerian Air Force, acting under the directive of the Chief of the Air Staff, recorded another significant achievement in ongoing counterterrorism operations through a precision Air Interdiction (AI) mission executed on 19 November 2025 at ARRA, a well-known terrorist enclave within the greater Sambisa area.
The operation was conducted by the Air Component of Joint Task Force Operation HADIN KAI after a series of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions tracked terrorist movements linked to the 17 October ambush on troops at KASHOMRI. Continuous ISR monitoring over KASHOMRI and Sambisa revealed unusual activities and active terrorist infrastructure at ARRA, prompting a carefully planned, intelligence-driven strike.

NAF aircraft engaged the designated targets through coordinated, successive attack runs, resulting in the complete destruction of all identified structures. The strike significantly disrupted the group’s operational capabilities, command structure, and logistics networks.
This mission reaffirms the NAF’s commitment to safeguarding the nation, supporting ground operations, and maintaining persistent pressure on terrorist groups across all operational theatres. The Air Force remains steadfast in its effort to neutralize threats, defend Nigeria’s territorial integrity, and promote lasting peace for all citizens.
