
Operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command have foiled a robbery attempt and arrested two suspected armed robbers in Azare town, Katagum Local Government Area of the state.The suspects were reportedly found in possession of two locally fabricated firearms and a stolen motorcycle during a coordinated stop-and-search operation by the police.According to the command, the arrest followed credible intelligence that led officers to the suspects, who were attempting to flee the scene after robbing their victim.

Items recovered from them include the weapons, live ammunition, and the motorcycle believed to have been stolen from the victim.Police authorities confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the inquiry.The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police commended the officers for their swift response and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety of residents across the state.
