The Kano State governorship candidate of the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) has praised former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, describing him as a leader whose commitment to transparency and accountability has earned him widespread respect across Nigeria.
In a goodwill message to mark Obi’s 65th birthday, the NDC candidate commended the former Anambra State governor for consistently promoting good governance, prudent management of public resources, and responsible leadership.
He noted that Obi’s style of leadership has inspired many Nigerians, especially young people, and encouraged leaders to embrace honesty, integrity, and service to the people.
The Kano NDC governorship candidate also lauded Obi’s calls for national unity, peaceful coexistence, and issue-based politics, saying Nigeria needs leaders who place the country’s interests above personal or political gains.
