The Ogun State Police Command has disclosed that suspects arrested over the killing of former OGTV broadcaster, Kitan Oyesiku, and her security guard have confessed to carrying out the attack.
According to the police, the suspects claimed their intention was to “teach her a lesson,” but the incident tragically resulted in the deaths of both Oyesiku and her guard.
Police authorities said investigations revealed details surrounding the crime, leading to the arrest of the suspects, who are currently assisting with further investigations.
The Commissioner of Police assured residents that justice would be served, adding that the command remains committed to tackling violent crimes and ensuring the safety of lives and property across the state.
The suspects are expected to be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
