Troops Rescue Two Kidnap Victims in Kaduna Search-and-Rescue Operation

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have successfully rescued two kidnap victims during a search-and-rescue mission conducted in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The operation was disclosed by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama in a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

According to the report, the troops launched the operation after receiving intelligence on the activities of suspected kidnappers in the area. During the mission, security personnel combed identified locations and engaged in efforts aimed at locating and securing the safe release of abducted persons.

The operation led to the successful rescue of two victims, who were subsequently reunited with safety. Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the rescued individuals.

Security forces are said to be continuing efforts to track down the kidnappers and dismantle criminal networks operating within the region.

The rescue highlights the ongoing efforts of Operation Enduring Peace to combat kidnapping, banditry, and other security threats across Kaduna State and surrounding areas.
