Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has issued a strong warning to individuals and groups seeking to exploit local communities, spread terror, or undermine the nation’s stability. He emphasized that such actions will be met with swift and decisive consequences as the federal government intensifies its security operations across the country.
Ribadu reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to restoring law and order, assuring citizens that the era of unchecked violence and insecurity is coming to an end. According to him, security agencies are now better equipped, more coordinated, and fully determined to dismantle terrorist networks and criminal syndicates threatening the peace of the nation.
He stressed that no group—regardless of size, influence, or location—will be allowed to hold Nigerian communities hostage. Ribadu added that ongoing collaborative efforts between the Defence Ministry, intelligence agencies, and the armed forces will continue until peace is fully restored in every region.
“The government will defeat the terrorists, protect innocent citizens, and reclaim every space currently threatened by criminality,” he assured, urging Nigerians to remain vigilant and support security operatives as they work to secure the nation.
