The Federal Capital Territory Administration has begun enforcement actions on more than 1,000 property owners across Abuja who have repeatedly failed to pay their statutory land-related charges.

According to the administration, several months of public notices, reminders, and warnings were issued, but many affected owners still refused to comply. As a result, officials have now started implementing sanctions to recover the outstanding payments and ensure adherence to due process within the FCT.
