Nigerian comedian Alibaba has expressed a sense of relief following the details that have emerged about Tyler Robinson, the alleged killer of Charlie Kirk. According to Alibaba, while the assassination is a terrible event, it would have been worse if the perpetrator had been Black or Arab.
Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old from Utah, is the accused shooter. He comes from a conservative, pro-gun family, with both of his parents, Amber Denise Robinson and Matthew Carl Robinson, being registered Republicans. Robinson himself was a nonpartisan voter in Utah and was listed as “inactive,” having not voted in the last two general elections.
Despite his family’s political leanings and his own inactive voter status, Robinson reportedly became more political in recent years. During a family dinner, he allegedly criticized Kirk for “spreading h@te” and being “full of h@te.
Robinson had a strong academic background, with reports stating he scored a 34 on the ACT. He attended Utah State University for one semester in 2021 on a scholarship before dropping out.
