Police Arrest Three Kidnappers, Recover ₦4 Million Ransom in Delta

The Delta State Police Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers, including a 60-year-old man identified as Ndianefo Cypre, for their alleged involvement in the abduction of a resident in the state.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, the suspects were apprehended following a well-coordinated intelligence-led operation carried out by officers of the command. During the operation, the police successfully recovered over ₦4 million, believed to be part of the ransom paid by the victim’s family for his release.

The suspects reportedly confessed to their involvement in the crime and are currently in custody as investigations continue to uncover other members of the gang and their operational network.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police commended the operatives for their swift action and reiterated the command’s commitment to rid the state of criminal elements.

He also urged residents to remain vigilant and provide timely information to security agencies to aid ongoing efforts in combating kidnapping and other violent crimes in the state.
