Months after the death of Nigerian influencer Igho Tiny Ubiribo, popularly known as Ego, new reports have revealed the circumstances that allegedly led to his tragic passing.
Ego, who was known to be a close friend of Nigerian music star Davido, reportedly died at the age of 43 following complications linked to a penis enlargement procedure he underwent in Thailand.
According to reports, shortly after the cosmetic procedure, Ego began experiencing severe chest pains while attending a couples massage session. Witnesses reportedly said he suddenly collapsed, prompting emergency efforts to save his life. Sadly, he did not survive.
A postmortem examination reportedly carried out in the United Kingdom later uncovered cellular material in his lungs that matched hyaluronic acid, a substance commonly used in cosmetic enhancement injections. Medical findings allegedly concluded that the material had entered his bloodstream, resulting in a pulmonary embolism — a serious condition in which a blood vessel in the lungs becomes blocked.
The official ruling reportedly determined that the pulmonary embolism was caused by complications arising from the procedure.
