The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a man, Emmanuel Etim, for allegedly selling a stolen block machine vibrator valued at over ₦2 million.
According to the police, the suspect was apprehended during an investigation into the theft of the industrial equipment. Officers recovered the stolen machine and have begun efforts to return it to its rightful owner.
In a separate operation, the police also arrested another suspect, Nsidibe Benson, for allegedly vandalising property belonging to a polytechnic in the state. The suspect is accused of damaging and stealing items from the institution.
The Police Command said both suspects are currently in custody and will be charged to court after investigations are concluded. Authorities also reaffirmed their commitment to protecting lives and property while urging residents to report suspicious activities to security agencies.
