VeryDarkMan Doubles Down on Davido Criticism, Addresses Claims of Jealousy and NGO Dispute

Celebrity Gossip Trending

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has doubled down on his criticism of Nigerian singer Davido and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke following the backlash he received over his comments about their political affiliations.

In his latest reaction, VeryDarkMan said he was busy commissioning a school in Rivers State when he became aware that Nigerians were criticising him over a video in which he questioned Davido’s stance against the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The activist alleged that Davido’s criticism of the APC was driven by family interests rather than a genuine concern for Nigerians. He also accused the singer of taking advantage of the public’s dissatisfaction with the ruling party to score political points in Osun State.

VeryDarkMan further claimed that Governor Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, was pursuing his re-election ambitions through the Accord Party while remaining connected to an APC faction. These claims reflect the activist’s position and have not been independently verified here.

Responding to the criticism directed at him, VeryDarkMan dismissed several arguments raised by Davido’s supporters. These included claims that he had no right to criticise the singer because they had previously associated with each other, that Davido helped him gain social media recognition by following him on Instagram, and that his comments were motivated by the singer’s alleged failure to donate to his NGO.

He also rejected suggestions that he was jealous of Davido, insisting that he stood by his earlier statements.

The controversy has sparked further debate online, with Nigerians divided over whether VeryDarkMan’s criticism is justified or whether personal relationships and political interests are influencing the disagreement.
