A supporter of Judy Austin, Florence Mbeng, has responded to the reactions surrounding Judy’s court appearance on Tuesday.
In a Facebook video shared on Wednesday, Florence defended Judy’s conduct at the court, saying she arrived with her legal team and was prepared for the hearing.
According to Florence, the legal teams representing Emmanuel Obasi and Rita Edochie were allegedly not ready to proceed with the matter. She explained that Judy, who attended the proceedings as the complainant, was there to obtain a new date before leaving the court.
Florence further claimed that Judy left peacefully in a waiting vehicle, accompanied by a driver and security personnel. She alleged that the verbal exchange involving some individuals from the opposing side began only after Judy had already departed the premises.
Addressing the online community popularly known as “May Nation,” Florence challenged the group over its reactions to the court proceedings and continued criticism of Judy.
Her comments have since added another perspective to the ongoing online debate surrounding the case and Tuesday’s court appearance.
