Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has denied claims that he owes UK-based entertainment company Revolve Entertainment ยฃ4,106 following a tour in the United Kingdom.
The allegation was made by the company’s representative, popularly known as DJ Timmy, who accused the singer of failing to settle an outstanding balance and threatened to expose him publicly if the money was not paid.
Responding to the accusation, Dakolo described the claim as false and misleading. Through his legal representatives, he insisted that he does not owe the promoter any money and warned that the allegations have damaged his reputation.
The singer’s lawyers have demanded an immediate retraction of the statements, a public apology, and the removal of all defamatory posts made against him on social media. They also warned that legal action would be taken if the promoter fails to comply.
The dispute has since generated widespread reactions online, with fans expressing mixed opinions while many await further developments or official evidence from both parties.
