One person is feared dead while several others remain trapped after a three-storey building under construction collapsed in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday along Peter Odili Road, one of the city’s busiest areas, sending residents and passersby into panic.
According to eyewitnesses, construction workers were on site when the structure suddenly gave way, burying several people beneath the rubble. Rescue teams, including emergency responders and security personnel, were immediately mobilized to the scene to search for survivors.
