The Delta State chapter of the City Boy Movement has announced its commitment to mobilising support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of upcoming elections, pledging to deliver about 2.7 million votes in favour of the party.
According to the group, the move is part of its wider political engagement strategy aimed at strengthening the APC’s presence in the South-South region and boosting support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Leaders of the movement in Delta State stated that they are working to expand grassroots mobilisation across communities, wards, and local government areas to ensure widespread voter participation for the party.
They also expressed confidence that with sustained engagement and political awareness campaigns, the APC can make significant gains in Delta State during the elections.
The pledge has since sparked reactions within political circles as parties continue to intensify campaigns ahead of the polls.
