Over 250 members of the Bnei Menashe community from India, who trace their claimed ancestry to one of the lost tribes of Israel, have arrived in Israel as part of a government-supported immigration program.
The group’s relocation is part of ongoing efforts to bring Bnei Menashe families to Israel under the country’s Jewish immigration policy. Upon arrival, they are expected to undergo formal integration processes, including conversion procedures where required, language training, and cultural absorption programs.
Israeli authorities and supporting organizations say the initiative aims to reunite communities believed to have ancient historical or religious ties to the Jewish people, while helping new arrivals settle into Israeli society.
