Iyabo Obasanjo has urged the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State to ensure fairness and inclusivity in its ongoing power-sharing discussions ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
She made the call following a recent consensus arrangement within the party that produced a governorship candidate for the next election cycle. According to her, while internal agreements are part of political strategy, it is important that all stakeholders feel fairly represented in the process to avoid tension and division.
Iyabo emphasized that equitable participation among party members remains key to sustaining unity and strengthening the APC’s chances in future elections in Ogun State.
