
KEBBI STATE, NIGERIA — Nigerian Army troops have successfully repelled a terrorist ambush targeting the convoy of a General Officer Commanding (GOC) in Kebbi State, neutralizing five insurgents in the process and recovering a large cache of weapons.
The troops, demonstrating swift tactical response, foiled what appeared to be a carefully planned attack on the senior military commander’s convoy. The insurgents, who had reportedly positioned themselves along a route in Kebbi State, were met with decisive force from the troops providing security escort.
