
Troops of the Nigerian Army have successfully foiled a bandit attack in Kaduna State, neutralizing one suspected terrorist and recovering stolen livestock, weapons, and ammunition during a coordinated military operation.
The operation was carried out following credible intelligence on the movement of armed bandits who were reportedly planning to launch attacks on nearby communities. Acting swiftly, the troops engaged the suspects, leading to a brief but intense firefight.During the encounter, one of the bandits was neutralized, while others escaped with gunshot wounds into the surrounding bush.
The soldiers subsequently conducted a thorough exploitation of the area, resulting in the recovery of several stolen livestock, two AK-47 rifles, magazines, and a quantity of assorted ammunition.
