The tragic incident occurred in the Osubi community of Okpe Local Government Area, where the suspect, identified simply as Iseleto, was said to have attacked his son, Miracle, during an argument. Sources revealed that the disagreement stemmed from ongoing domestic issues within the family.
According to reports, the deceased had rented a separate apartment for himself and his father’s wife in a bid to maintain peace in the household. However, this action reportedly angered his father, leading to a confrontation that later turned violent.
During the altercation, the suspect allegedly stabbed Miracle, inflicting fatal injuries. The young man was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Following the incident, the suspect fled the community and has remained at large. Security agencies have since launched a manhunt to apprehend him, while investigations into the circumstances surrounding the killing are ongoing.
