Insecurity: Tinubu Will Not Entertain Negotiations With Bandits — Bwala

News

Presidential Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has reiterated that President Bola Tinubu’s administration maintains a firm stance against negotiating with bandits or any terrorist group.

Bwala explained that the government’s security strategy is rooted in strengthening military operations, improving intelligence gathering, and restoring safety in affected communities—rather than entering peace talks with criminal elements.

He noted that the President believes negotiating with armed groups only emboldens them and undermines national security efforts. According to Bwala, ongoing operations across the country demonstrate the administration’s commitment to confronting terrorism head-on and ensuring lasting peace.

Bwala urged citizens to remain confident in the government’s approach, emphasizing that all security agencies have been directed to intensify actions that will weaken criminal networks and protect Nigerians.
