
Fresh intelligence from the Nigeria Police Force has raised alarm over the movement of a “large number of armed bandits” into parts of Kogi State, prompting heightened security concerns in the region.According to the internal security alert, operatives reported unusual bandit activity along several corridors, with credible information suggesting that both a secondary school and a university have been marked as possible targets.

The police did not disclose the names of the institutions but noted that the threat level is considered serious.Security agencies in the state have reportedly begun deploying personnel to vulnerable areas, while community vigilante groups have been advised to remain on high alert.
