
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have successfully neutralised more than 50 terrorists during a series of counteroffensive operations across Borno and Yobe States.According to military sources, the operations, conducted over the past several days, thwarted multiple coordinated attacks on military bases and communities in the two northeastern states.

The troops reportedly engaged the insurgents in fierce gun battles, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists while recovering several weapons and ammunition.“The gallant troops displayed superior firepower and tactical resilience, successfully repelling enemy assaults and eliminating over 50 terrorists,” a security source confirmed.

The military added that mop-up operations are ongoing in the affected areas to prevent regrouping of the fleeing insurgents and to ensure the continued safety of residents.Operation Hadin Kai remains at the forefront of the fight against Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Nigeria’s North-East region.
