The Benue State Police Command has confirmed the death of a suspected serial killer identified as Saater Aii, a resident of Wannune in Tarka Local Government Area of the state.Police authorities said Aii, who had been on their watchlist for a series of murders and violent crimes within the community, was found dead under yet-to-be-determined circumstances.According to the Command’s spokesperson, investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of his death and to determine whether foul play was involved.
He added that the police had earlier intensified efforts to apprehend the suspect following reports linking him to multiple killings and other criminal activities in the area.The spokesperson assured residents of continued efforts by the police to maintain peace and security in the state.
