
The Nasarawa State Police Command has successfully rescued a two-year-old boy who was abducted in the Sabon Pegi area of Lafia Local Government Area.According to a statement by the command’s spokesperson, the rescue operation followed an intelligence-led raid that led to the arrest of three suspects believed to be behind the abduction.

The suspects were tracked and apprehended by operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit after the victim’s family reported the incident. The child was found unharmed and has since been reunited with his parents.Commissioner of Police, Shehu Nadada, commended the swift action of the operatives and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to ensuring the safety of all residents of the state.

He also urged parents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movements to the nearest police station.
