“I’ve sold almost all my stock since yesterday,” said Chinyere Okafor, a trader at Ogbete Market. “People are buying in bulk, some even for decoration or party rallies.”Supporters of the governor have been seen waving brooms during processions and gatherings, while others say the surge symbolizes a new political wave in the state.
