Troops of 2 Division/Sector 3, Operation Fansan Yamma, have rescued three more kidnap victims during coordinated counter-banditry operations in Kwara State.The victims were freed following an intense operation conducted within the Babanla Forest, a known hideout for criminal elements in the area.According to a military statement, the operation was part of ongoing efforts to flush out bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal groups terrorising communities in Kwara and neighbouring states.
The rescued victims have since been handed over to security agencies for medical examination and further debriefing, while efforts are underway to track down the fleeing suspects.The military assured residents of its continued commitment to restoring peace and ensuring the safety of lives and property across the state.
