The Chairman of a Local Government Area in Sokoto State has praised Nigerian military troops for their successful operation against fighters loyal to notorious bandit leader , describing it as a major breakthrough in the fight against banditry in the region.
According to reports, the troops engaged the bandits in a fierce gun battle during a coordinated offensive targeting Turji’s strongholds.
