The Anambra State Police Command has apprehended four suspects in connection with armed robbery and kidnapping operations in the state.In a statement on Monday, the Command confirmed that the suspects were arrested following a coordinated operation by its tactical team. Toyota Camry car with registration number SMK 835 FC, believed to have been used in carrying out criminal activities.According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects had been terrorising parts of the state, targeting unsuspecting residents for robbery and abductions. The Command added that efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the gang currently at large.
The Anambra State Commissioner of Police reassured residents of the Command’s commitment to tackling crime and ensuring the safety of lives and property across the state. He also urged the public to continue providing useful information to aid ongoing security operations.
