DSS Arraigns Sowore Over Alleged Anti-Tinubu Post

The Department of State Services (DSS) has filed a five-count charge against human rights activist and publisher, Omoyele Sowore, over allegations of making false statements about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.According to court documents, the Federal Government accused Sowore of publishing comments on social media that were capable of inciting public disorder and undermining national security.

The charges, filed before a Federal High Court in Abuja, claim that his posts were intended to stir unrest and destabilize the country.Sowore, a former presidential candidate and convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, has faced several legal battles with the authorities in recent years over his activism and criticism of government policies.The case is expected to come up for hearing in the coming days.
