The Nigerian government has announced that its healthcare sector is attracting international patients, including those from the US and UK, in addition to those from the West African subregion. This claim was made by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, after a Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja. Pate stated that despite ongoing challenges, significant progress has been made in the healthcare sector, leading to this influx of international patients seeking quality care. He emphasized that this positive development reflects the transformation promised by President Tinubu.
