Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has stated that his administration is making notable progress in the ongoing fight against banditry in the state.

He said coordinated efforts between security operatives and the state government are beginning to yield positive results, leading to improved safety in several previously affected communities.

According to him, sustained security operations, intelligence sharing, and community cooperation have contributed to restoring relative peace and stability in parts of Sokoto.

Governor Aliyu assured residents that his administration remains fully committed to ending insecurity and ensuring that all affected areas experience lasting peace and normalcy.
