The Kaduna State Police Command has recorded a major breakthrough in its ongoing fight against kidnapping and violent crimes across the state.
In a recent update, the Command revealed that a total of 41 suspected kidnappers have been arrested during a series of coordinated operations carried out in different parts of Kaduna State. These operations also led to the successful rescue of seven kidnapped victims who have since been reunited with their families.
According to the police, the crackdown was made possible through intelligence-driven strategies, improved surveillance, and collaboration with local communities. The Command also disclosed that several firearms and other dangerous weapons were recovered from the suspects, further weakening criminal networks operating in the region.
The Commissioner of Police reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety of residents, stressing that efforts will continue until criminal activities are brought to a minimum. He also urged members of the public to remain vigilant and support security agencies by providing timely and useful information.
