The institution said the decision followed an investigation into complaints that the lecturer sexually molested a student. According to the management, the probe found him guilty of violating the school’s code of conduct and ethical standards.
In a statement, the polytechnic emphasized its zero tolerance for sexual harassment and abuse, stressing that the dismissal was meant to serve as a warning to staff and to protect students from exploitation.
The management also encouraged students to report any form of harassment, assuring them that all complaints would be treated seriously and handled with confidentiality.
