Troops of the Nigerian Army have recorded a major operational success in Borno State after ambushing a Boko Haram logistics convoy, killing no fewer than 21 insurgents.
The operation, carried out following credible intelligence, targeted terrorists transporting supplies meant to sustain ongoing attacks in the region. During the encounter, soldiers engaged the convoy in a coordinated ambush, overpowering the insurgents after a fierce exchange of fire.
Military sources confirmed that several logistics items, including vehicles, weapons, and other supplies, were seized during the operation, dealing a significant blow to the group’s operational capacity.

The Army said the successful ambush underscores the continued commitment of troops to degrading terrorist networks and restoring lasting peace in the North-East. Security operations in the area have since been intensified to prevent any regrouping by fleeing insurgents.
