Senator Barau Jibrin, has strongly criticized U.S. President Donald Trump for labeling Nigeria as a “disgraced country.” Senator Jibrin called on President Trump to immediately withdraw his statement and issue a formal apology, describing the remarks as uncalled for and damaging to Nigeria’s international image.
He emphasized that Nigeria, as Africa’s most populous nation and a key global player, deserves respect on the world stage and that such comments undermine diplomatic relations between the two countries.
