A teenage girl, Joy Ogah, made history after symbolically assuming the office of Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, for a day.The symbolic takeover, part of an initiative to promote youth leadership and gender inclusion, gave Joy a platform to speak on issues affecting girls across the country.

During her brief tenure, she passionately advocated for the empowerment and education of Nigerian girls, stressing the need for equal opportunities in leadership and access to quality education.Joy’s one-day role as “Vice President” was designed to inspire young people—especially girls—to believe in their potential to lead and make meaningful contributions to national development.
