
A young Nigerian girl from Gombe State, Maryam Ibrahim Dan’azumi, has made the country proud after emerging as a winner at the prestigious 46th King Abdulaziz International Qur’anic Competition in Saudi Arabia.
Maryam represented Nigeria at the international Qur’anic recitation and memorisation competition, which brought together talented participants from different countries around the world.
Her outstanding performance and mastery of the Qur’an earned her the top honour in her category, marking a remarkable achievement for the young Nigerian and her home state of Gombe.
