“I Did Not Pray for Tinubu, Muslim-Muslim Ticket” — Rev. Dachomo Denies 2027 Endorsement

Celebrity Gossip Trending

Plateau-based cleric, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has denied reports suggesting that he prayed for President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima to win the 2027 presidential election on a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Dachomo made the clarification following reports surrounding a prayer he offered during his ongoing visit to Israel, where he was said to have prayed for President Tinubu and his administration.

The cleric explained that his prayer should not be interpreted as an endorsement of Tinubu’s 2027 presidential bid or support for the continuation of the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

According to Dachomo, the prayer was focused on the leadership of the country and the well-being of Nigerians, rather than an attempt to influence or endorse the outcome of the 2027 general election.

He urged the public to disregard reports suggesting that he had publicly endorsed Tinubu and Shettima for another term, stressing that his words had been misinterpreted.

The clarification comes amid growing political discussions ahead of the 2027 elections, with various religious and political figures expressing different views about the country’s leadership and the future political landscape.
