Nigerian comedian and content creator Carterefe has expressed disappointment over the state of infrastructure in Nigeria after returning from a recent trip to the United Kingdom.
Carterefe, while reflecting on his experience in the UK, compared the level of development and public infrastructure in both countries, saying Nigeria still has a long way to go.
According to the comedian, Nigerians who have never travelled outside the country should consider visiting the UK to experience the difference in infrastructure, public facilities and general development.
He suggested that seeing how other countries operate could give Nigerians a different perspective on the challenges facing the country.
Carterefe’s comments have since sparked reactions online, with some Nigerians agreeing with his observations about the country’s infrastructure, while others argued that Nigeria’s development should be viewed within its own economic and social realities.
