Nollywood actress Bunmi Nelson has expressed regret over turning down an opportunity to work with filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele at a time when Akindele was encouraging her to pursue a career in the movie industry.
Nelson revealed that she never imagined Akindele would rise to such a remarkable level in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Looking back, she admitted that she would have embraced the opportunity more seriously if she had understood the potential Akindele had at the time.
According to the actress, the experience taught her an important lesson about humility and the need to respect people regardless of their present circumstances or status.
