Delta State Governor’s aide, Oghenede Ufuoma, has empowered widows, students, and youths through the distribution of cash grants, learning materials, and vocational training support.
The empowerment programme, held in Delta State, was aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable groups while encouraging education, skill acquisition, and self-reliance among beneficiaries.
Widows received financial assistance to support their businesses and families, while students were provided with educational materials to aid their studies. Youths also benefited from vocational training and empowerment packages designed to help them acquire practical skills and create sustainable sources of income.
Speaking during the event, Ufuoma reaffirmed his commitment to supporting community development and improving the lives of residents through initiatives that promote education, economic empowerment, and youth development.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely support that would ease financial burdens and provide opportunities for a better future. They also commended the governor’s aide for investing in the welfare and development of people across the state.
