Shiites Cannot Be Intimidated, Says El-Zakzaky

News

Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, has criticized the Nigerian government over the 2015 Zaria massacre, describing the incident as a grave injustice against his followers.

El-Zakzaky stated that the Shiite community cannot be intimidated and will continue its work despite attempts to suppress it. He emphasized that the movement remains committed to its mission and will not be deterred by threats or government actions.

The IMN leader also highlighted concerns over ongoing issues, including the handling of investigations into the massacre and the continued treatment of members of the Shiite community.

He accused authorities of failing to deliver justice for those affected and warned that the movement’s resolve has only grown stronger.

Sheikh El-Zakzaky’s remarks come amid ongoing tensions between the IMN and government authorities, as the group continues to advocate for its rights and recognition in Nigeria.
