Police in Bauchi State have confirmed an attack on vehicles during a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship affirmation event in the state.
According to the police, suspected political thugs disrupted the event by vandalizing and attacking vehicles at the venue, causing panic among attendees.
Security operatives say an investigation has already been launched to identify those behind the incident and bring them to justice.
Authorities also assured residents that measures are being put in place to prevent further breakdown of law and order in the area.
