Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Igboho, has called on the Federal Government and South-West governors to approve his security network to help tackle rising insecurity across the region.
Reacting to the recent kidnapping and killing incidents in Oyo State, Igboho said criminal activities have continued to spread across forests and communities in the South-West, causing fear among residents.
According to him, his security network is ready to work with authorities to flush out kidnappers, bandits, and other criminal elements hiding in the forests. He stressed that local security efforts are necessary to protect lives and restore peace in affected communities.
Igboho also urged the government to take urgent action against insecurity, warning that residents can no longer continue living in fear as cases of abduction and attacks increase across the region.
