Eyewitnesses said the fire spread rapidly through the building, making it difficult to salvage property before emergency responders arrived.
As a result of the blaze, decades’ worth of vital documents, records, and office equipment were completely destroyed. The secretariat, which served as a central hub for union activities in the state, has now been reduced to rubble, disrupting administrative operations.
