Senator Barau Jibrin has distributed 47 cars and 282 motorcycles to leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano North, as part of his ongoing empowerment programme aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization.
The distribution exercise, which took place in Kano, saw party stakeholders and loyalists receive the vehicles to support their political activities and improve outreach within their respective communities.
Speaking at the event, Barau said the initiative is part of his commitment to rewarding party loyalty and enhancing the operational capacity of APC leaders across the senatorial district. He emphasized that empowering party structures at the grassroots level is key to sustaining political success and delivering democratic dividends.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely support that would ease transportation challenges and boost their effectiveness in mobilizing support for the party.
The empowerment programme is one of several initiatives by the senator targeted at improving the welfare of his constituents and strengthening the APC’s presence ahead of future political engagements.
