Nigeria’s Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms has clarified that the newly introduced tax laws are designed to support the aviation industry, not cripple it, as some critics have claimed.

The committee highlighted six major ways the new tax framework will benefit airlines:
